I had no idea what "cryptoart" actually was til I googled it. Fascinating... How long until "CryptoMusic/CryptoTunes" become a thing? Or are they already are?

Yep, already a thing. probably an even newer thing than art though, but releasing music through NFT has a lot of potential. I really think NG has a great foundation for it already, even if it uses it's own blockchain and tokenizing system. PeakD has a user ranking system based on activity like the Exp Points here, they allow for all content just like NG - idk, I'm sure Tom Fulp has thought a lot about this already.
