With all the hubbub going on about NFTs and cryptoart, I was recently introduced to a new social media platform by an art buddy of mine, called PeakD. it's mostly a blog-style website to post art and get involved with crypto at the same time. The UI/UX reminds me that of Reddit, Instagram, and a bit of Newgrounds. I'm still learning the ropes, but I'm most excited by the concept that getting likes or upvotes means you're earning Hive Tokens, which is PeakD's main crypto. It's not worth much, but it's something. Anyway, I'll be working on growing a following on there, if you want to follow me on there, you can find my page here https://peakd.com/@yakovlevart

Yo! So I recently posted the newest cover art I did with Pylot. It's for the track titled, "Cruising."
Just wanted to plug the Patreon because this wild ride is entirely SELF-FUNDED! We count on YOU awesome fans and fans-to-be by supporting this project through Patreon, buying prints, and buying the tracks on bandcamp and itunes. Anyway, I don't wanna PLUG too hard, but if you're down with this and what we're trying to do, we totally appreciate chya for it and it allows us to keep the passion project alive!
Thanks to all the new fans I've made since my last post, I'm gonna continue posting art as long as I can and thanks for all the support thus far <3

Okay wow! I still remember when we hit 900 and it was a post to the Frontpage that got it there. Now we're only 50 more away from 1000 and I really want to reach that before Pico Day. I think that'll be kinda cool. This page has been around so long and I still comeback at least once a day to see how things are. I try to post my art and music (which I don't post anywhere else) as much as possible.
*Ofcourse there is always my new site where you can get a great look at new art too :)
Anyway, just wanna say I'm happy for all the gowth and support Newgrounds has given me and I'll continue to do my best in posting content that has gotten me this far.
Thanks for the support!

Just thought I'd let everyone know I've been working latley on getting all my work updated and on a new site. It's simpler and shows my work clearly. I'll update the SKETCHES as often as I make them and the overall site as I see fit. Come check it out. Let me know what you think.
Thanks!

Happy to say that over the weekend this page broke 600 fans. I remember being stoked to see about 36 or something. This is so next level I don't know what else to say besides, Thank You!
I will continue to post my art and music (if I get the time to make more, lol). If you guys want to creep even harder than this site allows, you can follow me on Instagram @yakovlevart. I post almost daily there with sketches and previews to upcoming pieces that I sometime don't even post here. I want to keep this page full of finished illustrations and work that relates to NG most like community challenges and special days. Speaking of which, I doubt I'll have anything in for robotday2015, but I'll see.
Anyways, thanks so much for the support. I see you guys mentioning me in the forums and I really appreciate that, can't imagine anyone has time for me what with all the awesome content on here. So thank you guys again. This is super special to me and I hope to keep this going for as slong as possible. Maybe even come out to any of the NG conventions or whatever.
Thanks!

To all my fans and followers, and really anyone who gets a chance to read this.
A couple months ago I was given the incredible opportunity to be the only artist for a board game called Entropy. It was a lot of fun and a lot hard work. In many ways, I became stonger in what what used to be my areas of weakness. Earlier this month, I posted some of the art from the game. You guys are the best community when it comes to supporting a creator. I feel like I'm part of a family sometimes. I will continue to post my best work because I believe what makes NG so prime is that everyone only posts their best work. We really want to grow and impress eachother. With this recent project, I would be lying if I didn't say you guys didn't help. NG was one of the first places I started posting my art. After so many great reviews and PM's, I got the courage to post elsewhere and eventually landed this gig. Those of you who know me, know I don't ask for money or favors in exchange for things. I like to treat my fans in an honest way. I don't like to ask for help, but becasue I know how supportive you are on my work, I think you'll appreciate this game.
A month is a long time for a project to get funded, and even after that, it takes time before the backer actually gets the product. But if you still remember this me(& this post) when you get the game, I would love to send you a little personal sketch or sign your copy of the game. I know it's not easy to set this up, but I want to thank each of you in some way :P Maybe send me a screencap of you backing it and I'll whip up a digital sketch and PM it to ya!
Like I said, I'm not the type to ask for trades or make deals to get something out of you. So I'm no good at offering something in exchnage for support. I just know from experinece, I have some dedicated followers and fans that love my work.
Anyway, thanks for all the love and support you give on almost a daily basis. I will continue to post my best content, even a few more pieces from the game itself.
Here's a link to the Kickstarter. If you back it, you can comment and hang out with all the devs including myself. Or you can comment below and hang out there. Maybe give some ideas on how I can thank you each, I dunno...lol.
Anyways, thanks a lot to everyone!

TL;DR: I made all the art on a Kickstarter project now live, please support it if you can!

As one of the rewards you can get a portrait of yourself or a friend in a custom HUD Concept design by yours truly! Check it out now, there is onle a LIMITED amount I can do! There's this one and one more awesome reward by me that you guys should check out in the link!

I recently surpassed 400 fans, you guys are amazing, and with each new fan I remember how vital this site and community is to me. I will continue to post updates and new work to this site no matter how much I grow. I've been on NG for a while, under other, older accounts. Seeing my favorite music poroducers get big and leave the site was always a sad moment, and I promise, with the constant growth of this page, I will never leave you guys <3
The other wicked new is, one of the pieces I did with Reach Robotics was recently featured in the UK newspaper!!! It's so UNREAL! I know some of you guys showed interest in the product, and seeing this solidified it's future existance.
Anyway, thanks to Tom and the whole NG Community for this milestone! I'm excited to see where we'll go from here!
All the best,
Mike (Antiskill) Yakovlev
