really loving that traditional look. Do you do these in pencils first or is that effect from a brush setting?

Yea its just a conte brush in photoshop :3 Thank you!
I like the sharp and graphic nature of your marks but the obvious smudge brush effects throughout kinds ruins it. I would love to see a version without it.
I was playing around with new techniques, smudging didn't feel well for me so I dropped it when I created a new piece
Love it! Great color and value balance. Digging the rough style too. Only compositional issue is the tree directly behind the guy. It creates a tangent and if removed all together the opening are would create a great contrast and silhouette of our main guy.
I really need to study and understand composition, I'm still trying to figure things out :) Thanks a lot for help!
awesome!
Is it weird that I recognize that smoke background? haha. I have that same pack!
Neon blades are dope any time.
GOOD STUFF!
noway, I had drew all that. but thanks a lot my man
Diggin' this! Though you should've kept the textured brush look on the highlights too. I like the little gradients on them- that's fine. It's just the overall painting has this textured and rough look that works, but then the highlights on the cheek are an obvious square brush. Idk. just jumps out takes away from the traditional feel of it.
classic
Excellent! Is this in illustrator? It looks super sharp and clean.
Thanks a lot. It's done in photoshop.
Hell yeah! Good job! Must've taken forever. Looks awesome though. I like how well you used the white pencil. I can never make it show properly. Keep it up definitely!
Thank you. You are very kind :) If you mean the lightning effect, that's actually done with white gel pen for the core and then smears of white and blue pastels. I think it works pretty well.
expression, while simple, says a lot!
