You sonofabitch!

This melody is so moving. you really figured out a great melody and way to make the synth (guitar) sound to make the track move along a lot. The fact that that it kind of wobbles and goes in and out like that. it's a really good effect and trick.

The only thing I notice is that is lacking in bass. It has a great bassline, but maybe some sub bass to give it depth and weight.

Congrats on "Week's Best" and the #2 spot =]

Very chill.

So chill in fact, i can't stop listening.
I like how you kept all your cool ambient sounds in there, it gives it a really good depth.
Also you used some cool percussion. The crashes and reverse crashes are really big.
great mastering of the bass and drums. Great track, you did a really good job on this one.

Awesome track

This is kind of what I'm trying to achiive with my track.
Something with a nice heavy dubstep beat, but also nice super-saw melodies.
This is really cool. Great mastering. Adding to my favorites.

The only thing is, I can't hear the sub bass, maybe it's my headphones; I'll listen again with better pair, but it seems it doesn't have that deep bass to give it weight...You know?

Regardless great use of piano as intro and outro =]

I actually didn't want a boatload of bass in this song. Just enough to provide a floor for the mix. However if you listen to it on the right sound system (car, really bassy headphones/speakers etc.) it's got a great kick to it.

Thanks for the review man!

Interesting.

First thing I notice is the hats and cymbals bouncing between my ears. (Great effect)
The more complex fills that come in later in the loop are also a great way to add depth. The reverse cymbal sweep you introduce it with is a great touch =]
The snare could use another layer and less reverb, *well maybe not less reverb, but make it less evident that you just put a reveb on it* try tweaking it a bit more.
Also the kick could use another kick or 2 layered on it. The sub bass adds a nice depth, but maybe play with a subtle saw wave on top of it, give it some grime -just a little bit.

Over all nice, loop, I can see it being used in something.

Jebbal responds:

Eyyy glad you enjoyed this little loop of mine! Funny, I actually just opened the project file up the other day and started messing around again. I removed some of the reverb on the snare and remixed/layered the kick. Great minds think alike?

I'm going to start playing around with the bass soon, give it some of that grime you were talking about :)

Thanks for the review!

I...

absolutely LOVE your samples, unlike any other.
It seems you really take your time when composing each track. I believe you spend days on it/ leaving then coming back. This is what makes a track good. Proper attention to detail and different perspectives.
Amazing track one more time. I love the shakers and metallic/glass-like hits all around the percussion. Very new, I never hear anything like you anywhere else on NG.
5 BOMB!

-Great work!

KKSlider60 responds:

Million thanks for your very kind words :)
I'm sorry I didn't get on Skype recently, but I will try to contact you here nonetheless.

So good!

It's so good I cannot even use the right grammar or smart enough words to write a review.
-I'm dumb-founded!

It really melts my brain when the deep bass comes in at around 20 seconds....WOW
Also I respect you for using the little picks and mechanical sound bits all around, like sprinkles on a cake. I recently invested in a very high quality pair of headphones, through them I get a much better/clearer experience. The little sounds are panning between ears and it creates a 3d space.

Overall, another great track. Super chillout and deep.
You are the only person I know so well that makes tracks this way.
DON'T EVER STOP!

*collab soon*

KKSlider60 responds:

Huhu, collab you say? Collab you have :D
Your awesome drum and bass would blend incredibly well with my atmospheric soundscapes, so... ^^
Billion thanks again for your review, and yes, headphones are what really make this track shine on!

great.

Sounds almost like a progressive trance.
I really love the kicks and snares (of course).

Overall it's a laid back track, very calming. So try to stick with that as you are making it.
I think it sounds really nice, a little bit simple on the background synths the long string melody you have going in and out.
Maybe try layering some trebled synths, you know nice ans smooth synths to give it depth.
Try either layering on the high notes that start at 1:03. Layer it with another high notes or synths. Because it sounds too childish right now...
But yeah really like it so far.

Or4nges responds:

Childish you say? Prog house is generally pretty minimal :P I always way overdo it with my layering, so I wanted to make something a bit more simplistic.

As I continue working on the song however i'll add more layers and more depth. It hasn't even climaxed yet, so there's definitely more to do.

Thanks for the ideas man!

cool sounds.

There is sidechain on the arp sound, yes?
This track sounds pretty nice, very cool electronic house. I like the small slowed down part, that is a good variation.
Of all your (recent) tracks the percussion is my favorite. Your kicks and snares are wonderful, can you share? =P

I think in this track there needs to be one more layer for a deep bass, not sub bass, but just another layer on the electo saw bass, but a copy layer on lower notes.

Overall, great track. Really enjoyable and fun to listen to.

Or4nges responds:

Sidechained ALL the things! As for the bass idea, I tried that. Too much dissonance, and too much bass. I like the levels how they are at the moment; Mainly it boils down to a matter of taste on the producer's end.

And thanks! I've been really happy with my percussion lately, Everything finally clicked and the stars aligned and I understood how to properly doctor a kick drum lolol. Maybe i'll send you some samples if you ask nicely :P PM Me.

what a tease....

Interesting samples and beats. Interesting sound so far.

Or4nges responds:

If by samples you mean the percussion, than thankyou, my good man! Lots of doctoring to get em to sound like they do now though :P

I'll try getting it done soon :D

This is not dubstep.

This is Electo House.
Great track yes, but has more electo house samples and beats.
