Love it.
Chill and smooth pads during that breakdown, it really calms me down. I'd listen to whole track with just that part.
Otherwise, it's super good. To me it feels like the bass is too strong, but that could just be my equipment. Great track!

That synth is feeling a bit too 'plucky' so it makes the track feel a bit empty. still very filled out, but the synth plucks don't release for long enough and it bugs me...

Otherwise, solid track! I'll download it.

The 'big room' melody or what you want to call it sounds totally different from the Bastille parts. I mean it's cool I guess, but there is no consistency. This is of course just my opinion, but cutting together a classic house track with a simple bigroom probably isn't the best idea.

Wow dude!
You've gotten WAAAAY Better than last year. Dude, if you keep this up, you'll be playing clubs and signing boobs in no time. Practice make's perfect.
In this track I can see you've got a good handle on exploring tricks and sick sounds, but make sure you don't over do it. For example, the arpeggio synth sounds cool, but with the heavy bass on top, it get's a bit too crazy, haha.

But you're doing well so far, I can't wait to hear what you'll sound like a year from now.

Yeah it's still a little rough but I'm puuushin it to the limit haha, I thought my vocal samples were overdone so I edited them out but I haven't reuploaded it.

I think you need some new drum presets or spend more time layering and getting a more appropriate kick and snare/clap. the percussion is pretty much drowned out by the bassline effect. Work on your mastering dude.

Neat.
Although it's lacking in a few areas. The snare is short and light. It would be nice to have a nice long punchy snare. Actually I think all of the percussion could use some beefing up, fills, crashes, reverse crashers, high hats, all that mess =]
There isn't much variety besides the same bassline. It would be nice to layer in some synths or other instruments for that matter. The second "drop" is not much different from the first.
Lastly there needs to be better mastering as the main, "growl" sound gets pretty loud sometimes.
It's interesting to see the route you're taking with music. I hope you get better.

Bah, I'm so bad at mastering. I'd love to add more and fix and add all that you stated but I honestly can't. My laptop can't handle more than like 2 massives and a few midi. One of the massives I had to resample to save CPU. ): I added as much as it could possibly handleee but thanks a lot. :)
the reason for the snare is cause thicker snares are so common. d:

I was gonna do this remix contest too, but I never got around to making a full track. Really cool to hear what you can up with though, this is nice!
Great stuff.
I dig that low. smooth bass.
At, 1:30-2:12, this slow down was nice, but was a good opportunity to add some new sounds and clips to really bring it out and add variety to the track.
