"Great Idea...Classic "OOPS! MAJOR F-UP!""

You did the Volociraptor intro and went straight into T-REX sounds! Why? FAIL!

Great track as always.
Outro is a bit long and empty =/

TheBiocide responds:

Hahahahahahaha!!! Glad you liked the song, man! And I agree, the intro and outro could use a bit of work :/

They sounded good on my headphones at least! Heh...

The new world is just like i dreamt it would be.

-------------------

I. Immersing:
I see the track is 10 min+ but it doesn't phase me, I see the story below, that follows the music. This was quite an experience unlike any other I have ever had listening to a track on Newgrounds.

II. Versatile:
What complicates me is, "i listen to the music on it's own...wonderful. I listen to the track WHILE reading the stories with the following times, it makes the track sound like it was made for the story, no the other way around." Yet, that cannot be taken as a negative. The vast assortment and modification applied to this one track is astonishing.
Although the sudden changes among the track, the significant samples return further into the track.

III. Inspiring:
Every time I hear your music, i am blown away. I wish to produce music like yourself and attain the possible pre-productiong skills in music to come up with such sounds.
You are my main inspiration when it comes to ambient/classical pieces.

IV. Solitary:
What I most love about your style, is there is nothing else like it. With music like this it really takes a lot to finish and polish, to create the desired effect and emotion. You and Solar Fields are the only artists with such quality. Believe me when I say this, " You are one of a kind."

V. Analysis of the Dissection:
When I clicked the link I had no idea the world I was about to make "Contact" with. =]
Right as soon as the track begins my brain melts and my heart slows. The deep bass
and echoing vocal FX are so touching. I simply can't comprehend how you created these samples. I can say, "Yo this track is sick, love it!," but I would feel as if I have disrespected you. This track is beyond me, beyond everybody and, beyond it's time.
Continue, continue to create, to immerse yourself in the production of tracks such as these. You know I am patiently waiting until your next release.

Prodigious track. Wonderful job. I am very proud, and yes, the extensive review WAS necessary.

KKSlider60 responds:

Beautiful review, and a simple "thank you" wouldn't be enough to bring justice to it. :D Not to mention I'm honored to be your main inspiration for music.

You made me wanna listen to Solar Fields now. My main inspiration for this track was Carbon Based Lifeforms, a great Ambient group from Sweden. I used only an external sample for the first theme, which are radio tuning noises, the rest is from either Reason or old tracks I didn't use before.

The weird thing is that when composing something, I'm totally clueless about the possible "meaning" behind it... So, I invent a concept or a story for the track in order to have a clearer vision of the whole, and finally, I try to give a proper title. Experience told me that doing the contrary only brings more crap in the end, so yeah, that's it I suppose. XD

I always write "stories" in a general way, so that anybody can have his own personal interpretation of the track, whether it enriches the plot, or creates a totally new experience. It doesn't matter to me, as long as it's creative and inspiring as well.

Many, many thanks again for your time and for your quickness in replying my "call"!
You too keep making awesome music as well ;)

Great track man!

I haven't listened to your stuff in a while, but gotta say this track is SICK!
Loving the mastering, the samples, and the variety!
Your are my man!
Great work, keep it going!

Indigorain responds:

Man, THANKS! :D
Great review, thanks a lot ^^

SICK!

I am one for the melodies.
In this track you do a great job composing a nice upbeat melody!
I also love the samples used for it, with the delay and reverb it sounds nice =]

I think the mastering is also pretty nice.
Cool track!

Reali-tGlitch responds:

Thanks :D. I honestly never have any idea how my songs will fare. normally, my songs get voted down just cuz. Nice to see people liking it :).

Loving this.

Has the happy hardcore style.
The kicks are nice and punchy which i really like. Great job on that!
The melody and samples are really nice too.

Work on layers, adding more variety and layers of basslines and just little sounds to give it more guts.
Other then that great job =]

Daydream-Anatomy responds:

I agree it could use a little more umph that adding another layer or instruments would do.

Thanks for the review:]

Great!

Very upbeat.
I love the melody because it has a happy emotion to it. I just hear the bassline does not match the lead notes.
I like the overall concept.
I would work on the percussion, kicks are not loud enough and try adding some variety.

Daydream-Anatomy responds:

The notes don't match up, but I don't think they conflict with the leads. LIke it's all in scale and key, and not chaotic to where it throws the song off, but they're harmonizing sorta, at least to my ears.

Thanks for the review:]

Nice

I dig the bass, but it seems the mastering is off a bit.
Some bass lines sound quiet while others sounds loud. it has a creepy feel to it but not so much laid back.
I love the samples but I think work on the structure and mastering.

Daydream-Anatomy responds:

I might if I go back to it, tbh I didn't level it right, I made it a LONG time ago, then a week ago I thought I should re-do all of it, and I forgot to level the volume, I didn't realize it was too quiet till the next day.

Thanks for pointing it out though, and for all the other reviews you gave me, I really appreciate it:]

Hey now!

This is really good.
Great loop if anything.
Although it isn't mastered, the samples and beats sounds pretty clear so far.
Good job, can't wait to hear the final version.
Kr1z has some pretty sick tracks, doing a remix as well. Kinda intimidated by this, haha.

hey!

This is a pretty ill track, loving the piano so far!
Although i would consider including some kind of other sounds in there. the piano is prominent, but tnot really diggin the saw. Mes with a softer bassline, and if the saw lead is going to play try pulling back on the piano a bit =]

lantaren responds:

I don't know, would that make it better? this was originally going to be faster, but I decided against it so I could make lyrics better :D If you have any ideas for me for lyrics, that would be great :D.

so I need that synth in there, I just need it! so what should it be? sine? triangle? square? hybrid? I don't know what would sound good since those things you didn't like are what I thought made it my style and different... but I could try that :D

I also thought that the piano should be brought out over dominance if they played at the same time? PM me

Likin this!

A bit fast though for the pace i think. Try 140-135bpm...
Other then that, beautiful piano and emotion.
I love using classical instruments in trance, too!
